Consulting and applied research with impact.

My career goal is to deliver cybersecurity services and undertake cybercrime research with the highest possible social impact. I personally find it very satisfying when technologies I have developed, or other outputs I have created, are used for social good. My major concern is to improve the quality of life for humans globally, through the reduction of crime and improvement of safety on the internet. I am also very entrepreneurial, I really enjoy seeing new ideas and products bought to the marketplace, rather than sitting on the shelf gathering dust. You can read many of my papers at https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=dIfPL-0AAAAJ&hl=en&oi=ao

I've also recently published a book on Counterintelligence in a Cyber World, where I provide guidance on how to organise and operate a counterintelligence program, provide easy-to-follow instructions on how to translate lessons learned from government counterintelligence, and examine the limitations of attack attribution and post-attack forensics.

I also maintain a blog on cybersecurity-related topics: https://www.blogger.com/blog/posts/7129429097568540611
